Silent
Peace Vigil Flyers
Every Monday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 PM since
January 2003, a group of Staten Islanders has gathered in front of Borough Hall
to stand vigil for peace. This vigil is sometimes silent and peaceful in the Quaker tradition,
but we also engage in conversation amongst ourselves and with
passersby. Bring a candle and a peaceful sign if you wish.
The links below are to flyers (in .pdf format) prepared by vigil organizer Melissa Van.
We read them and hand them out at the peace vigil to inform ourselves and others.
Please feel free to download and print them for your own use.
